GENERAL CONDITIONS BED AND BREAKFAST

Reservations : Reservations are done either by telephone or Internet: veroniquebudai@outlook.fr. The payment of a deposit equal to 25% of the price of the stay and any supplement reserved for this occasion (meal, jacuzzi or sauna session) will be automatically requested in order to validate the reservation. This deposit requested may take the form of a bank cheque, a bank transfer or holiday vouchers.

Cancellation :
Cancellations must be confirmed by email or post.
Stays excluding ""gift boxes"":

• Up to 30 days before the date of the beginning of the stay, the deposit paid will be fully refunded.
• From the ^30th to the 11th day preceding the stay, half of the deposit paid will be refunded.
• If the cancellation occurs within 10 days prior to the stay, the deposit paid will be retained by the lessor.

Stays with ""gift boxes"":

• Up to 11 days before the date of the stay, the "gift vouchers» will either be reactivated for the benefit of the customer or postponed to a later date ( only one postponement possible ), to be determined according to the rental company's availability.
• For any cancellation occurring within the 10 days preceding the date of the stay and whatever the reason (death, illness, weather, vehicle breakdown) or for any other reason... (even on presentation of a medical certificate, of death or other certificates), the "gift box" will be considered used and cannot be postponed or reactivated by the partner.
• The part of the stay concomitant with a ""gift box"" (extension of a stay by box) will be subject to the cancellation conditions set out above (see section: stays excluding ""boxes"").
• A stay postponed (exceptionally) after the validity date of the gift boxcannot be canceled or postponed, whatever the reason (death, illness, weather, vehicle breakdown) or for any other reason... (even on presentation of a medical certificate, death certificate or other certificates ), the ""gift box"" will be considered used and cannot be postponed or reactivated by the partner.
• No discount on additional night will be granted if the gift box is used or postponed after its validity date.
• Only in Riviera room. For any stay in a Romance or Rivage room, a supplement of €15/night will be requested and €20/night on the chalet.

             
Stays with gift boxes in the form of an ""electronic ticket"":

Reservations made with "electronic tickets" are firm. No cancellation possible 48 hours after making the reservation.We can postpone the stay once depending on our availability but in no case cancel.



Interruption of the stay by the client :Any stay shortened by the sole will of the client (without there being any serious fault on the part of the owners and legally attributable to them) cannot lead to a refund of the period not used by the client, whatever the reason. the reason mentioned (weather, illness, death or other reason).

Duration of stays : The minimum duration of stays depends on the time of year:
In July and August: Stays must be for a minimum of 3 nights, including at least one paying night.
In June and September, small school holidays and bank holiday weekends: 2 nights minimum.
Regarding reservations for one night only, we do not make reservations beyond 3 months in advance.
For stays of 2 nights, no reservation more than 6 months in advance.
No arrival on Sunday (except stays of 4 nights or more).

Arrivals : The client must arrive on the specific day at the times mentioned, namely:
EXCLUSIVELY from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In the event of a sauna and/or jacuzzi session, arrivals are then from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in order to be able to carry out the session(s) before dinner.
In the event of late or delayed arrival, the client must notify the owner. If the customer does not appear before 9:00 p.m. on the day scheduled for the start of the stay, this contract becomes void and the owner may dispose of the room.The installments remain with the owner who will reserve the right to claim the balance of the price of the accommodation.
Departures : Departures must be made before 10 am.
Payments accepted : Cash, checks, bank transfer, "gift boxes" or "holiday vouchers":
- "Holiday vouchers" are accepted as payment for the stay up to a maximum of 50%.
- Nights following stays in "gift boxes" and paid for in whole or in part using "holiday vouchers" do not benefit from any promotional discount.
- The balance is due upon arrival . Consumption and additional services as well as the tourist tax will be payable at the end of the stay.

Tourist tax :The tourist tax is a local tax that the client must pay to the owner who then transfers it to the public treasury (adults only).

INTERNAL RULES


Animals : Guide dogs are accepted. Other animals on request and after acceptance.

Hot tub (jacuzzi) :on reservation. The jacuzzi can be temporarily closed (maintenance, water change), child must be accompanied by a parent.

Baby or child (baby or extra bed) : supplement of €20 to €28 depending on the age of the child.

Billiards : The billiard room is open from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. while respecting the tranquility of other guests. Children (from 12 years old) can only play under parental supervision.

Motorhome : for security reasons, motorhomes must park outside the property. The owners of the ""Forge de Clermont» can in no way be held responsible for any damage. No connection will be possible on the electrical network.

Towels : For stays, even one night, "towels" are provided in the rooms.
                                                                                                                                 
Swimming pool : Open from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. Outside these hours, it is protected by an automatic safety cover. The swimming pool, shared with customers and owners, may be temporarily closed (maintenance, technical problem, etc.). The children are under the supervision and the exclusive responsibility of the parents and must respect the tranquility of the place. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of May to the end of September. This period may be shortened or extended depending on weather factors or for maintenance.

Sauna: Infrared sauna, on reservation and subject to health conditions, children from 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent.

Table d'hôtes : Before the start of the stay, the table d'hôtes must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance, 24 hours in advance during the stay. On Sunday evenings, the table d'hôtes is not guaranteed.The menus are given as an indication and are subject to change according to the seasons, the market or the number of guests. Any menu modification request (vegetarian, gluten-free, pork-free, etc.) must be made when booking and will be charged extra. The same goes for breakfasts.

Use of premises   : The customer must respect the peaceful character of the premises and make use of it in accordance with their destination.He undertakes to leave the rooms in good condition, not to smoke in the house, not to use incense and not to picnic either in the rooms or in the living room.





Responsibilities of residents : At the end of the stay, customers are required to return their room and the bathroom in a correct state.Any equipment, object or "property furnished" found damaged, broken or missing will be estimated at its replacement value and/or evaluated by estimate (for a return to its original state).
- Customers must submit to the internal rules of the bed and breakfast, taking care not to disturb other residents both during the day and at night, by adopting a respectful behavior compatible with any tourist stay in society as well as a harmonious cohabitation with the owners.
This "responsible" behavior must be verified both within the accommodation and the common areas of the residence and outside (garden, swimming pool, car park and "relaxation area").

- Children, mainly young children, must be supervised by parents everywhere in the residence and especially at the swimming pool. Parents assume responsibility for the consequences of the acts committed by their children as much for themselves as for other customers or for the owners, both for their physical integrity and their material goods.
- The animals are under the supervision and the exclusive responsibility of their owners. any damage to the physical integrity or material deterioration committed by the animals towards the other customers or the owners of the guest house, will fall under the full responsibility of their owners.

WIFI : The WIFI access code will be provided free of charge. The customer must in no case go to illegal download platforms or sites of a pornographic or pedophile nature...
